Direct from our paddock to your plate!
Just in case you are hungry... Alpine Dorper lambs are now available for ordering online before being delivered via refrigerated transport direct to your door!
Whether you live in Wangaratta, Beechworth, Albury / Wodonga, Melbourne, or elsewhere, a specially selected lamb can be organised for you, professionally packed in an esky pack, before being delivered to an address of your choosing. We can even phone you when we’re on the way!
Here at Alpine Dorpers we are passionate about producing the very best lambs possible for eating and enjoyment on your plate!
To this end, decisions are made from before our lambs are even born, right through to their final selection and delivery, that all impact the quality, tenderness and taste of our meat.
We are a fully accredited Meat Standards Australia (MSA) property and use technologies that enable us to track and record animals for your safety and transparency.
Our lambs are treated to the highest welfare standards and their overall contentment is of the utmost importance to us. Put simply, if they’re not happy, they won’t grow!
Alpine Dorper lambs are born and bred onto the lush pastures in the foothills of our snow country, just 50km from Beechworth and Wangaratta. Each animal is carefully selected to ensure the best quality and correct minimum weight.
Alpine Dorper lambs are tender, tasty and great value for money.
Your lamb will be professionally aged by the butcher, for additional eating tenderness and taste. To ensure this gourmet experience, please allow approx 2 weeks from your order to your home delivery date.
Each lamb represents excellent value at $250 each. Tender and tasty lamb cut to your specifications from the guide below.
Lambs are packaged as below:
- Leg roasts
- Chops (Loin & Forequarter)
- Racks OR Cutlets OR both (Please specify)
- Mince OR Sausages (Please specify)
- Shanks (for slower cooking)
- Neck Chops (for slower cooking)
Payment must be made prior to delivery and can be by electronic bank transfer, cheque or cash. Sorry, we are unable to accept Credit Card payments at this point.
Delivery to your door is additional to the lamb cost. Otherwise lambs may be picked up from "Your Everyday Gourmet Butcher" at 25 Rowan St, Wangaratta (opposite the camping and video shops).

- Benalla - $10
- Bright - $15
- Albury / Wodonga – $20
- Melbourne - $40
